Specialist area
Grief & loss, especially parental loss
My master's research followed how young adults' picture of their own future shifts after losing a parent. That work sits behind this offering — including the losses nobody around you seems to be marking any more.
- Bereavement in young adults, at any point after the loss
- Helping a child understand a death in the family
- Anniversaries, guilt and the "should I be over this" question
- Grief that is complicated rather than simple
ages 12+50–60 minEFT optional
Developmental support
Neurodiversity support for families
Support around autism and ADHD: early concerns, screening, making sense of a report, and translating it into what to do on Monday morning. Formal diagnosis is made in collaboration with a paediatrician or psychiatrist — I'll refer where that's needed.
- Developmental screening and early identification
- Explaining a diagnosis to family and to the child
- Emotional regulation and social skills work
- School liaison, accommodations and teacher briefings
